Salone Fact Checker is produced by IMDEV in collaboration with Media matters for Women. It seeks to investigate and verify trending news stories that are being shared on various platforms for publication. In this week’s edition, three news stories were investigated, fact checked and published and have been translated into krio. The stories includes, the news about the self stabbing of popular Sierra Leonean footballer, Musa Tombo, the detention of the Mayor of Freetown and the news about sex for grade allegation at the Milton Margai Technical University.
