Anna Peters is a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, having successfully completed her PhD in moral and legal philosophy at Cambridge in 2026. She conducts cutting-edge research on the nature and limits of permissible legal interference, the design and justification of criminal offences in non-ideal legal systems, and the demands of morality under non-ideal conditions. She previously worked for the Swiss Foreign Service in Zagreb, Croatia, where she was responsible for the human rights dossier, among other duties. She brings her passion for international human and women’s rights and her experience working in diplomacy to support the activities of Media Matters for Women.
